Our business model is cat treats
Compound Joy is built by one person (hi 👋). There are no investors to please, no ad networks to feed, and no data to sell. The whole thing runs on:
- The quiet satisfaction of helping people hit their retirement number.
- Occasional tips from people who found it useful.
- My cats demanding premium snacks at all hours.
If Compound Joy has made your money feel clearer — or helped you actually believe retirement is possible — a cat treat is the highest form of compliment.
What about the free plan?
This is the free plan. It includes everything: the dashboard, the FIRE planner, the debt tools, net-worth journaling, charts, tracked indexes, exports, and every feature on the roadmap. No asterisks.
Will there ever be a paid tier?
Maybe one day — and only for things that cost real money to run. Bank-account auto-sync, for example, means paying another company per user per month, which isn't a cat-treat budget item.
If we ever add optional premium features, the current free tier stays free. No taking things away, no bait-and-switch.
